Premature ejaculation is the most common sexual disorder in men, characterized by the inability to maintain sufficient duration of sexual intercourse. At the same time, most men do not seek medical help from an andrologist, but prefer to hush up the problem or discuss it with friends, or look for solutions on the Internet. This occurs either due to false shame and inconvenience, or due to reluctance to be treated. Often this approach leads to aggravation of the problem and an increase in conflicts based on sexual dissatisfaction.
Causes of the primary form of premature ejaculation:

increased sensitivity of the glans penis;
increased excitability of the brain centers responsible for the onset of ejaculation;
the presence of a short frenulum of the penis also contributes to accelerated ejaculation.

The risk of developing premature ejaculation is significantly increased by factors such as obesity, irregular sex, alcohol abuse, as well as family problems – frequent conflicts, emotional coldness between partners.
Treatment for premature ejaculation:

reducing the excitability of the central nervous system (primarily the centers responsible for ejaculation) with the help of antidepressants from the group of serotonin reuptake inhibitors (paroxetine, sertraline, dapoxetine).
decreased sensitivity of the glans penis – the use of local anesthetics before sexual intercourse, as well as condoms treated with anesthetics.
